Thermoflare is a new material used in the lining of several Tilos items. It’s made from two types of fabrics which have different insulating properties. When they are combined to create the Thermoflare liner they offer exceptional warmth and comfort. The dark part of Thermoflare is hydrophilic (absorbs water). This pulls water in and traps it allowing your body to heat it creating a barrier of warm water. Since it holds the water in place there is less water to re-warm. The lighter part of Thermoflare is a hydrophobic (repels water) hollow fiber. It has a fleece like feel against the skin and has excellent insulating properties adding even more warmth. It is also very fast drying.

HYPOALLERGENIC — All Tilos products are manufactured from 100 percent pure neoprene made from an exclusive formula called X-Foam, which is made from limestone (not petroleum) neoprene. This means it is completely petroleum-free and hypoallergic for people with sensitive skin. This also makes X-Foam the only neoprene formula that complies with the very strict P.A.H. and REACH test requirements.
SUPER STRETCHY — Built with a mix of quality 1mm 250% superstretch X-Foam neoprene for warmth and durable nylon for stretch and comfort.
ADJUSTABLE CHIN STRAP — Adjustable chin strap ensures the beanie sits comfortably on your head without slipping off.
QUICK DRY - The soft Thermoflare plush liner keeps your head and ears warm from cold air and brisk winds. Offers exception warmth and comfort even through extended use.
RELIABLE DURABILITY — 1mm 250% Smoothskin face seal minimize water flow and maintain strength. Glued and flatstitched throughout seams.
